After reading “Night” by Elie Wiesel, I wanted to learn more about the Holocaust. I think this was one of the most horrific and shameful times in World History. After viewing the videos and hearing the book read aloud, how do you feel about the Holocaust? Do you think something like this could happen today?

I Believe that the holocaust was a sad and tragic time. I do believe that the holocaust can be repeated.

i think that the holocaust was a very hard time in our history. A lot of innocent lives were taken. it could happen again in the future. Hopefully not. But the videos are very touching and open your eyes to what is really going on out there.

What I have seen today has shown me that there is a worse life happening to others right this very second. It is so sad about how people can harm and hurt others especially little kids.

I think that the Holocaust was a really bad time in world history. I also think that very same thing could happen again today.

I think that something like that could happen again today. It was a horrible time period in history and I hope that it never happens again, but there is still a possibility that it could. I feel that it was horrible for the people that had to experience it too. The people that I know (that weren’t Jewish) that experienced the world outside of the camps, had to live horrible lives too. It’s just really sad.

Seeing the films today has shown me that there are people starving, suffering, and are being treated worse then i could have ever imagine. I couldn’t ever see how people can be so cruel and treat people this way.

From what we have heard about the Holocaust, i think that it was one of the most horrible times ever for people in the world. I think people just all need to get along and accept the world around them!

I dont think that people should be treated like that because they are people just like us. that is so mean and rude. they deserve to be treated equal just like everyone else. i really dont know what i would do if i had people to do that to me. i really dont think that i would servive because what they do to people is horrible. it would be scarey to know that i would be in that situation and getting beaten to death. people should not be able to do that, whoever that does it should be killed theirselves.

The holocaust to me was a very terrible thing, and that Hitler was a very bad person. It was depressing that the nazis treated the jews like that. I don’t know if that would ever happen today.

The Holocaust was a horrible and terrible thing. It was sad that many Jews were murdered and mistreated. I think that this could happen today because there are very powerful leaders in many countries.

I think there was no reason for the Holocaust. The Holocaust was a very scarce and emotional moment for the Jews and no I don’t think it could happen now.

I think Hitler should have died with the jews that he killed. If he didn’t i was going to go back in time and kill all them nazis and then kill Hitler by making him bury is own grave then ill shoot him.

It was another time that the jewish was pericuted in the time of the world. We wish it didn’t happen but it did and for the few that lived through it is very very lucky and blessed! And yes anything could happen!!!!

The Holocaust was awful! Especially, how they threw the infants in the air and shot them with machine guns. That is absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! I do not see how anyone could live knowing that they killed a child. I can kinda see why Jews would hang themselves back then, because when they went to concentration camps they ended up being killed anyways. I do not really know if it could happen again, and I really hope that it will not.

The Holocaust was a horrible thing! I feel bad for the Jews who experienced it! I dont think I could have handled the camps, digging my own grave, and watching babies be thrown in the air and shot by machine guns. I dont see how people could could live with theirselves. I’m not sure if it could happen today or not but i certainly hope not.
